I feel incredibly sad for these animals. Out of their proper environment, trained by people who make a profit from their work and don't seem to care much for them as long as the work is done. Pitiful. Unnecessary. Only sufficient if all we care about is performance rather than engagement.
Me too. I had mixed feelings about using the clip, but it just spoke so well to my thoughts about the mindlessness of how empirically supported treatments are often thought about and implemented.
Have you by chance seen the documentary "An Apology to Elephants"?
