So this World War II era propaganda posters were made for a country that had not traveled extensively abroad and did not know much about the world around us. The United States Office of Facts and Figures issued these posters showing some our friends in the war effort to make our allies recognizable to Americans. Such a fascinating glimpse into our past -- and our present as we become more isolated and fearful of outsiders. All images are from the New Hampshire State Library.
